Basic Almond Milk Recipe (Easy & Delicious!) (WFPBNOGF)


Prep Notes

Soak 1 cup raw almonds in 3 cups of purified water overnight.

Ingredients

1 cup almonds

2-4 dates

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

4-1/2 cups purified water

Directions

Drain and rinse the almonds.

In a blender add:

  • soaked almonds
  • 2-4 dates (or other sweetener)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4-1/2 cups purified water

Blend on high speed until the mixture is finely blended, about 1 minute.

Position the bag over a large bowl or pitcher and pour in the nut milk puree.

Twist and squeeze the bag gently, allowing the filtered milk to collect until the pulp is dry.

Refrigerate immediately and serve well chilled.
