Maple-Cream Cheese Frosting (WFPBNOGF)

Yields

makes about 3/4 cup, enough to front one average-size cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan cream cheese
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons plain or vanilla vegan milk

Directions

  • Combine the ingredients in a food processor. Process until creamy and smooth. Use a flexible cake spatula to remove from the work bowl. Spread on cakes or cupcakes once they've cooled to room temperature.

Notes

i particularly love this simple frosting on fruit- or vegetable-based baked goods, especially those containing carrots or pumpkin.
